Logic Fruit Technologies is introducing the Kritin iXD 6U VPX Single Board Computer (SBC), designed for aerospace and defense applications. The VPX-SBC-1700 model is powered by Intel Xeon ICE LAKE D-1700 processors, providing up to 10 cores of processing capability. Intel AVX-512 supports this processing, optimizing vector processing tasks for systems like Radar Processing Units (RPU), Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR), Electronics Warfare (EW), and Mission Computing.

The SBC offers up to 64 GB of DDR4-2667 RAM, spread across two independent memory channels. This SBC also includes Ethernet 100/40G and PCIe Gen4 interfaces, providing fast data transfer and connectivity. Built according to the VPX VITA 65 standard, it comes with dual XMC slots, offering flexibility for expansion and adaptation in aerospace and defense settings. The product aligns with the ‘Make in India’ initiative, offering full customization options. It allows customers to upgrade or replace their existing SBCs, ensuring seamless transitions to newer technology.
The SBC is designed to serve multiple critical applications, particularly in aerospace and defense sectors. These applications include Radar Processing Units (RPU), which enhance radar system performance, and Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), where the SBC processes and analyzes intercepted signals. Additionally, the system supports Electro-Optical/Infrared (EO/IR) operations, vital for sensing and imaging technology, and is highly suitable for Electronic Warfare (EW), providing capabilities for detecting and countering electronic threats. Lastly, the SBC is also used in mission computing, ensuring reliable computing power for mission-critical tasks.
