MaxLinear is seeking a Validation Engineer to join our growing team. Your contribution needs to ensure modular, scalable, reliable, innovative test automation solutions that maximizes resource utilization and generate accurate, comprehensive validation reports at the shortest possible time. In this role, you will focus on the following:
- Post Silicon validation of Serial communication, bridge and Power (PoLs, PMICs) products
- Manage, debug test setups, execute validation testing and generate accurate, comprehensive validation reports
- Plan, organize and track assigned tasks to ensure that the schedule commitments are met
- Support lab infrastructure development activities
- Ability to develop a detailed validation test plan (based on the high-level test plan generated by System Architect) is desirable
- Ability to build validation test setups is desirable
- Ability to develop automated validation test setup is desirable
Qualifications
- 1-3 years’ experience with B.E./B.Tech or equiv. with specialization in Electrical, Electronics, Communication, Instrumentation or Computer science Engineering
- Basic software prog. skill in Python is a must. Python, Labview based automated test development experience is desirable. Advanced skill in XL, MS Word is desirable
- Experience in using (interfacing is a plus) Oscilloscope, Function Generators, Digital Multimeters, Electronic loads, dataloggers etc
- Good documentation skill & presentation skill is desirable
- As working in lab is essential, in-office presence during all working days, is required
