Zhejiang Sunnyverse Technology has selected Anritsu’s WLAN and Bluetooth testing products to evaluate the RF performance of its Extended Reality (XR) devices.
As the XR device market, which includes Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), continues to expand, the need for fast data transfer and low latency is crucial. These factors are essential for providing users with a seamless experience in fields like entertainment. Industries such as gaming, healthcare, and education, where immersive experiences and real-time data transmission are critical, are particularly interested in the performance and reliability of XR devices. Therefore, Sunnyverse, a leading XR developer, sought reliable testing solutions to assess the RF transmission and reception (TRx) performance of their WLAN and Bluetooth technologies, which directly impact data transfer in their products.
Sunnyverse ultimately chose wireless connectivity test set MT8862A for WLAN and the Bluetooth test set MT8852B. These test sets streamline the RF TRx performance measurement process, enabling faster product evaluation and reducing time to market. The MT8862A measures WLAN RF characteristics across the IEEE 802.11 bands (2.4 GHz, 5 GHz, and 6 GHz), offering precise MIMO Rx sensitivity and Tx power measurements. Similarly, the MT8852B, a Bluetooth SIG-qualified device, provides efficient testing for Bluetooth’s 2 Mbps low-energy PHY and long-range options.
In addition to WLAN and Bluetooth, the rise of 5G communication, known for its low latency and high bandwidth, is poised to further enhance XR devices. Anritsu is positioned to support this shift, offering comprehensive 5G, WLAN, and Bluetooth test solutions tailored to the growing XR market.
Sunnyverse’s decision to adopt wireless connectivity test technology highlights their commitment to ensuring high-quality performance in their XR devices, such that they were designed to optimize testing efficiency and enable faster time to market, crucial in a rapidly evolving sector.
“The adoption of Anritsu’s test sets marks an important step for Sunnyverse in enhancing the wireless performance of their XR devices,” said the company, reinforcing their commitment to delivering cutting-edge technology to users.
